Ingredients

Burger

  • 1 14 oz can of organic jackfruit, chopped
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup onions, chopped
  • 7 oz tofu
  • 2 tablespoon green chiles, canned
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 2 teaspoon granulated garlic, or garlic powder
  • 4 slices Smoked Gouda Vegan Cheese I used Follow Your Heart

Garlic Cream Aioli

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or juice of 1 lemon

Burger Toppings

  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh greens

Instructions

Garlic Cream Aioli

  • Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.

Burger

  • Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse until ingredients are mixed.  Oil your hands, and form 4 burgers.
  • Place burgers on grill on high for 5-7 minutes or until you see grill marks.  Flip the burgers and reduce heat to medium and add mushrooms to grill. Add cheese to top of burgers.  Place lid on grill.   Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, flipping the mushrooms occasionally. 
  • Assemble burger as follows:  Spread Garlic Cream Aioli on hamburger bun, add greens, mushrooms, burger, onion, tomato, avocado.  Add additional garlic cream aioli.
